February 5, 2017: Thus Saith the LORD! [Ezra 5:6-17]
Much is known about the essence of words in our lives. They have influence for the past, present and future. Words represent the decisions of yesterday and today, and have bearing on the happenings of tomorrow; and serve as a bargaining chip in deliberations between individuals and among groups of people.
Words ought not to be taken for granted. In a court of law, words (be it an evidence of past proceedings or declaration of the present) can lead to condemnation or acquittal of an accused person or even the plaintiff. In the Kingdom of God, we operate by knowledge of the Word of the LORD – written or spoken.
There is a Word about any situation we find ourselves and would ever find ourselves in. Ours is to know what the LORD has said and declare it. Your victory over the problem you are grappling with is just a Word (of faith) away. Declare it!
Identify a particular challenge you are dealing with in your life (if any).
Can you find any Word regarding this issue? If you do, use it as precedence in prayer.
Dear Father, please guide me in the truth of Your Word; and teach me to put Your Word to practice.
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.” [2 Cor. 4:13, nkjv]
